1998-01-06: HMBD C-FJRM - PILOT OF A FLOAT EQUIPPED HOME BUILT SUPERSPORT A/C TOOK OFF FROM RICE LAKE, ONTARIO IN STRONG GUSTY WIND CONDITIONS. MOMENTS AFTER DEPARTURE A LOSS OF CONTROL OCCURRED, WHICH CAUSED THE A/C TO ROLL RIGHT & DESCEND INTO THE WATER WHERE IT OVERTURNED. A/C WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED, THE PILOT & HIS PASSENGER ESCAPED UNHARMED. TIME - 2100Z. ACTION - NIL.
