1997-12-17: TA1 C-FKYM - A/C VFR PRINCE ALBERT TO LA RONGE EXPERIENCED ENGINE FAILURE. PILOT ATTEMPTED LANDING ON HIGHWAY. A/C WAS ROLLONG TO A STOP WHEN IT DRIFTED RIGHT & THE PILOT CORRECTED LEFT. PILOT WAS UNABLE TO CORRECT LEFT CORRECTION & A/ WENT INTO DITCH ON LEFT SIDE OF ROAD. LANDING GEAR CAME IN CONTACT WITH A RIDGE, CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO A/C. PILOT WAS THE ONLY ONE ON BOARD. NO INJURIES. TIME - 0230Z. ACTION - NIL.
