Incident at GEORGE LAKE

Summary

1997-12-11: L100 C-GHPW - CREW OF THE A/C ANTICIPATED SOME WATER & SLUSH ON THE LANDING SURFACE & THE NOSE GEAR WAS HELD OFF IN THE EARLY PART OF THE LANDING ROLL WHICH APPEARED TO CONTINUE NORMALLY. SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION REVEALED THAT THE MAIN LANDING GEAR DOORS & ACTUATORS HAD BEEN DAMAGED. DAMAGED DOORS WERE REMOVED & THE A/C FERRIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AIRCRAFT'S FLIGHT OPERATIONS MANUAL. TIME - 2140Z. ACTION - NIL.
