Summary

1993-04-07: C185 SKYWAGON C-FYCK - THE A/C WAS ALMOST STOPPED AFTER LANDING ON THE FROZEN SURFACE ON THE LAKE WHEN THE MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. IT WAS FOUND THAT THE OUTBOARD SUPPORT BRACKET FOR A LANDING GEAR LEG HAD FAILED. SUCH FAILURES HAVE BEEN FREQUENTLY ASSOCIATED WITH A/C SKI OPERATIONS FROM ROUGH HARD TERRAIN. TIME = 2200Z.
