Summary

1997-03-03: DH2 BEAVER C-FOES - THE SKI-EQUIPPED DH2 WAS FLYING AT 4000 FT WHEN SMOKE ENTERED THE CABIN THROUGH THE HEATING SYSTEM. THE PILOT NOTICED THE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE FLUCTUATING AND LANDED IMMEDIATELY ON A LAKE. AFTER LANDING, THE PILOT SAW AN ABNORMALLY LOW OIL PRESSURE INDICATION AND SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE. TIME = 1810Z.
