Summary

1997-03-03: A320 ACA179 - A/C WAS ENROUTE OTTAWA TO WINNIPEG. DURING LANDING ROLL OUT AT WINNIPEG, ATC ADVISED THAT SMOKE WAS EMANATING FRON MAIN WHEELS. PILOT REPORTED THAT BRAKE TEMPS WERE NOTMAL AND THAT THE SMOKE WAS PROBABLY CAUSED BY DEICING FLUID APPLIED ON DEPARTURE. CFR. A/C TAXIED TO GATE AND COMPANY MAINTENANCE CONFIRMED THAT SMOKE WAS CAUSED BY DEICING FLUID. TIME = 0820Z.
