Incident at REGINA

Summary

1997-03-03: BAE146 ABL719 - A/C EXPERIENCED HYDRAULIC FAILURE EN ROUTE TO SASKATOON. CREW UNABLE TO LOWER LANDING GEAR DUE TO HYDRAULIC PRESSURE LOSS, SO EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION PROCEDURE WAS USED. A/C LANDED SAFELY IN SASKATOON AT 0219Z. WHILE ON THE GROUND, PROBLEM WAS DETERMINED RECTIFIED AND A/C WAS MADE READY FOR FLIGHT TO REGINA. HYDRAULIC FAILURE RECURRED EN ROUTE TO REGINA AND GEAR WAS LOWERED USING EMERGENCY EXTENSION AGAIN. NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AS THE A/C WAS BEING READIED FOR TOWING BY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL. MINOR DAMAGE TO A/C AND BRIDGE #3. NO INJURIES. TIME = 0205Z.
