Summary

1996-03-18: HS61 COUGAR 61 - A/C WAS 2 MILES SOUTH OF THE HALIFAX A/P AND ADVISED THE TOWER THAT THE LEFT MAIN GEAR WAS NOT INDICATING DOWN AND LOCKED. THE GEAR WAS CHECKED VISUALLY AND APPEARED TO BE DOWN. ON SHORT FINAL, CREW ADVISED THE TOWER THAT THEY NOW HAD A GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION ON ALL LANDING GEAR. CFR WAS ADVISED AND THE HELICOPTER LANDED SAFELY AT 1438Z. TIME = 1435Z. ACTION = MAH.
