Summary

1996-01-17: PA31 CHIEFTAIN SPR501 C-GMHX - TOWER CONTROLLER OBSERVED THE A/C ENROUTE HALIFAX TO SAINT JOHN RETURNING TO THE AIRPORT. THERE WAS NO RADAR CONTACT. THE A/C LANDED ON RWY 06 AT 1023Z AND CONTACTED THE TOWER AND EXPLAINED THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL FIRE IN THE COCKPIT. TIME = 1016Z. ACTION = MAH-HZ.
