1996-01-16: DH8 ATL411 C-FCIZ - HALIFAX TO SAINT JOHN RETURNED BECAUSE FIRST OFFICERS AIRSPEED INDICATOR WAS ACTING LIKE AN ALTIMETER & INCREASING WITH ALTITUDE. ASI STARTED TO FUNCTION NORMALLY ON APPROACH TO HALIFAX. MAINTENANCE CHECKED PITOT HEATERS & PITOT STATIC TEST BOX. ALL CHECKED SERVICEABLE. A/C RETURNED TO SERVICE. NO REOCCURRENCE. TIME = 2056Z. ACTION = MAB.
