Incident at 45N 54W

At 0523Z, an Air Transat Airbus A310-308 (C-GLAT/ TSC150) from Montreal, QC (CYUL) to Paris/ Charles de Gaulle (LFPG) declared PAN PAN PAN in the vicinity of 45N 54W at FL350. The flight reported being unable to maintain their assigned level in very severe turbulence which lasted approximately 5 minutes. The flight was able to continue safely after leaving the region of turbulence.

Incident at 5157N 39W

TSB A13A0096: The Air Transat Airbus A310, registration C-GLAT, was operating as TSC150 for a planned flight from Quebec - Jean Lesage International to Paris Charles de Gaulle. While in cruise at FL350 approaching longitude 050W, the outer pane of the right front windshield cracked. The crew declared PAN, carried out the QRH procedure and requested a diversion to Montreal - Trudeau (CYUL) airport for the necessary repair. The flight landed at CYUL; the right windshield was replaced and the aircraft returned to service.
At time 0145Z an Airbus 310-308 (C-GLAT / TSC150) from Quebec, QC (CYQB) to Paris, France (LFPG)advised of a cracked windshield and requested to deviate to St. John's, NL (CYYT). The flight was cleared as requested and landed without incident at 0314Z

Incident at MONTRÉAL INTL (MIRABEL) QC (CYMX)

UPDATE (01-07-16): The TSB investigation (A01Q0118) revealed that, just after takeoff from Mirabel for Rome, Italy, the landing-gear transition indicator remained illuminated. The crew decided to dump fuel and turn back to land at Mirabel. The maintenance crew discovered that a connector had come loose on the control module because it was not fixed in place with the lock wire. Mise à jour (01-07-16): L'enquête du BST (A01Q0118) a révélé que l'appareil venait de décoller de Mirabel, en direction de Rome, Italie, lorsque l'indicateur du train d'atterrissage en transition est demeuré allumé. L'équipage a décidé de larguer du carburant et de revenir atterrir à Mirabel. L'équipe de maintenance a découvert qu'un connecteur était devenu lâche sur un module de commande parce qu'il n'avait pas été fixé en place avec du fil frein.
TSC150, an Air Transat L101, was making an IFR takeoff for a flight between Mirabel (CYMX) and Rome (LIRR). Immediately after takeoff, the pilot advised the Mirabel control tower that he had a technical problem and had to dump fuel before turning back to land. The pilot did not declare an emergency and did not request the presence of AES. The aircraft touched down without incident. TSC150, un L101 de la compagnie Air transat, effectuait un décollage selon les règles de vol aux instruments (IFR) entre Mirabel (CYMX) et Rome (LIRR). Aussitôt après le décollage, le pilote a avisé la tour de contrôle de Mirabel qu'il avait un problème technique et qu'il devait larguer du carburant avant de revenir atterrir. Le pilote n'a pas déclaré d'urgence et n'a pas demandé la présence des services aéroportuaires d'urgence. L'appareil s'est posé sans problème.
