In flight, a Propair Inc. Beech A100 (C-GJJF/PRO4600) from Rouyn-Noranda, QC (CYUY) to Montréal/Saint-Hubert, QC (CYHU) reported a change of destination for CYUY due to an instrument indication issue. Incident at VAL-D'OR QC (CYVO)

A Propair Inc. Beech A100 (C-GDPI/PRO4600) from Val-d’Or, QC (CYVO) to Rouyn-Noranda, QC (CYUY) aborted its takeoff run because smoke was coming from one of the engines. The aircraft exited the runway via Taxiway C. Emergency services were not requested. The aircraft returned to the terminal; no impact.

A Propair Inc. Beech 1900D (PRO4600) from Rouyn-Noranda, QC (CYUY) to Kuujjuaq, QC (CYVP) reported problems with its landing gear and called for emergency vehicles. The aircraft did not declare an emergency and landed safely at 1845Z. No other impact on operations.
UPDATE: TSB Report #A21Q0137: C-GORN, a Propair Inc. Beechcraft 1900D, operating as flight PRO4600, was on an instrument flight rules flight from Rouyn-Noranda, QC (CYUY) to Kattiniq/Donaldson, QC (CTP9) with only 2 crew members on board. At approximately 70 nautical miles (NM) west of Kuujjuaq, QC (CYVP), the crew reported a problem with the landing gear system, notified ATC that it wanted divert to CYVP, and asked for the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) unit to be present upon landing. The manual extension procedure was successfully used to extend all the wheels and the aircraft landed at CYVP without incident. There were no injuries and the aircraft was not damaged.

Incident at ROUYN-NORANDA QC (CYUY) (Aerodrome - other)

A Propair Inc. Beech A100 (C-GJJF/PRO4600) from Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) to Rouyn-Noranda, QC (CYUY) asked to change its destination to Val-dOr, QC (CYVO). The aircraft complied with the NOTAM instruction of prior permission required (PPR), which asked aircraft to inform the airport 60 minutes before arrival. Due to an unforeseen event, the runway was not available for the arrival of PRO4600. No other impact on operations.

Incident at ROUYN-NORANDA QC (CYUY) (Aerodrome - runway or taxiway surface condition)

Due to the winds and the Canadian runway friction coefficient (CRFI), Propair Inc. Beech A100 (C-GDPI/PRO4600) from Némiscau, QC (CYHH) to Rouyn-Noranda, QC (CYUY) requested to be redirected to Val-dOr, QC (CYVO). At 2303Z, a new CRFI of 0.58 was issued and communicated to PRO4600. The pilot of PRO4600 changed their mind and returned to CYUY. The aircraft landed at 2336Z without incident. No impact.

After it had been cleared to conduct standard instrument departure (SID) CYHU6 on Runway 24R, and after it had correctly read back clearance, a Propair Beech A100 (PRO4600) from Montreal/St-Hubert, QC (CYHU) to Rouyn-Noranda, QC (CYUY) turned right on a heading of 300 instead of maintaining the runway heading. No impact on operations.

A Propair Beech 1900D (C-FTQR/PRO4600) from Puvirnituq, QC (CYPX) to La Grande-Rivière, QC (CYGL) was seen 50 NM behind its estimated position. The aircrafts true airspeed indicated in the flight plan was 275 kt, but the true airspeed confirmed by the pilot was 232 kt.

Incident at BAIE-COMEAU QC (CYBC) (FOD (foreign object debris))

UPDATE: TSB Report No. A18Q0108: N525QS, a Cessna Citation 680A Sovereign-type aircraft operated by Netjets Aviation, on flight EJA525 was following Instrument Flight Rules from Quebec City/Jean Lesage Intl (CYQB), QC, to Baie-Comeau (CYBC), QC. The crew had planned a landing on Runway 28, whose southern portion covering its full length was closed owing to repair work. Temporary runway edge lights were placed in the usual runway centreline, and a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) had been published to this effect. One of the tires of the aircraft blew out upon landing when it collided with the temporary runway edge lights. There were no injuries. The aircraft also suffered minor damage to its left and right leading edge flaps.
A Hydro-Québec de Havilland DHC-8-311 (C-GJNL/HYD312) from Quebec/Jean Lesage Intl, QC (CYQB) to Baie-Comeau, QC (CYBC) landed on Runway 28 and had to come to a stop on the runway due to the presence of aerodrome lighting debris and a cable across the runway. The last aircraft to land before HYD312 was a Netjets Aviation Cessna 680 (N525QS/EJA525) from Quebec/Jean Lesage Intl, QC (CYQB) to Baie-Comeau, QC (CYBC), and airport staff confirmed that it was that aircraft that had damaged the lights and blown a tire. The runway was cleaned. A Propair Beech A100 (C-GJLP/PRO4600) from Maniwaki, QC (CYMW) to Baie-Comeau, QC (CYBC) had to fly a holding pattern before being able to land.
