Incident at ROBERVAL QC (CYRJ) (Bird strike)

Après son atterrissage à Roberval (CYRJ), le pilote d'un Lancair LC4 a avisé le spécialiste d'information de vol (FSS) qu'il y avait trois oiseaux morts sur la piste 16/34. Une inspection de piste a été effectuée et les carcasses ont été retirées. Aucun équipage n'avait mentionné avoir eu un impact aviaire lors de leurs décollages ou atterrissages.*** ** *** After landing in Roberval (CYRJ), the pilot of a Lancair LC4 advised the flight service specialist that there were three dead birds on runway 16/34. The runway was inspected and the carcasses were removed. No flight crew had mentioned a bird strike during takeoffs or landings.

Incident at ROBERVAL QC (CYRJ) (Aerodrome - runway or taxiway surface condition)

Update #1: The Roberval airport manager and City employees took action so that this type of situation does not reoccur.
The pilot of a privately owned Lancair LC4 advised that he had just gone over a flat object after landing in Roberval (CYRJ). The aircraft sustained no damage. A worker recovered a piece of plywood that had fallen off his trailer while he was doing some painting. ************ * ************** Le pilote d'un Lancair LC4 de propriété privée a avisé qu'il venait de rouler sur un objet plat après son atterrissage à Roberval (CYRJ). L'aéronef n'a subi aucun dommage. Un préposé a récupéré une planche de contre-plaqué tombée plus tôt de sa remorque alors qu'il effectuait des travaux de peinture.

Incident at Sault Ste. Marie, ONT

N6566Z, LC4 (Amphibian aircraft) NOA111 advised Sault control tower of observed traffic (amphib) which appeared to be heading southbound towards the control zone. Tower calls N6566Z on 118.8 - advised on control zone. Pilot responded with 'I tried calling but I guess I was on the wrong frequency." NOA111 had aircraft visual with no confliction. Ops. Impact -- unknown.
