Incident at VANCOUVER INTL BC (CYVR) (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)

A Central Mountain Air Beech 1900 (operating as GLR201) reported a possible bird strike on landing runway 08L. Two dead swallows recovered after inspection. Runway was closed for 5 minutes, minimal disruption to operations
UPDATE from Aerodrome Safety: No further action required. The Vancouver Airport has a wildlife program in place meeting the regulatory requirement of CAR 302.

Incident at QUESNEL BC (CYQZ) (Incursion - runway - animal)

Central Mountain Air Beech 1900D (C-GCML) flight GLR201, IFR Quesnel (CYQZ) to Vancouver was on the roll on runway 13 at CYQZ at 1745Z had to abort takeoff due to a coyote crossing the runway. Delayed IFR inbound from landing due to the aircraft having to back track

Incident at VICTORIA

GLR201 departed Victoria at 1710Z, was unable to retract landing gear. Aircraft returned to Victoria at 1745Z and landed without incident. ERS stood by.
