Incident at Gander Low Oceanic vicinity of Hibernia

Update: NIL TSB
PKYRJ DHC4 enroute St. John's to Santa Maria at 9,000 feet, reported 4645/50 at 1450Z and estimating 4520/45 at 1633Z. At 1540Z flight crew reported a fire indication on instruments but no visual. PKYRJ requested and cleared to return to St. John's. Shortly after turning back for St. John's, fire indication went out. Aircraft continued to St. John's and landed at 1646Z. No emergency declared or assistance required.

DHC4 CARIBOU C-GVYZ - A/C DEPARTED AND RETURNED TWICE DUE TO GUAGE PROBLEM. ON SECOND LANDING, A/C LEFT WHEEL CAUGHT ON FIRE & HAD TO BE CONTAINED & PUT OUT ON THRESHOLD OF RWY 12. A/C THEN TAXIED BACK TO APRON. BRAKES AND STEERING CAPABILLITY WERE LOST. NO INJURIES. TIME = 2131Z. ACTION = SAH.
