CMM313 A332 enroute Gatwick to Halifax reported an onboard Medical Emergency. Requested no delay into Halifax, company handling arrangements. No other aircraft involved. Landed 1725. Nil TSB

Incident at North Atlantic Ocean (Weather - clear air turbulence (CAT)/turbulence, TCAS alert, Conflict - near collision (VFR or IFR), Conflict - loss of separation)

CMM312 (C-GGWB) AIRBUS A330-202 CANADA 3000 AIRLINES LTD. IFR from London (Gatwick) International Airport, U.K. (EGKK) to Ottawa (M-CIA) (CYOW) Initial information from T.S.B. Initial Notification (#A00F0061): CMM312, a Canada 3000 Airlines Airbus A330 aircraft, registration C-GGWB, was flying IFR from Gatwick to Ottawa at FL370, and were aware of THY1491, a Turkish Airlines Airbus A340 aircraft, flying IFR to John F. Kennedy at FL360. Both aircraft were on the same course; however, THY1491 was directly below and approximately 100-200 feet left of the course centreline. It was reported that the flight crew of CMM312 observed THY1491 enter turbulence and abruptly pitch nose up and begin a climb. THY1491 climbed to approximately FL380 before levelling off. The flight crew of CMM312 initiated evasive manoeuvres simultaneously with receiving a TCAS RA to ""climb."" Ops. impact -- unknown. S.O.B.: - THY1491: unknown; and - CMM312: 335 -- 12 crew, 323 passengers.

Incident at QUÉBEC / JEAN LESAGE INTL QC (CYQB)

CMM312 (A330), était en régime de vol aux instruments (IFR) en provenance de London/Gatwick (EGKK), U.K. vers Mirabel (CYMX), lorsqu'à 40nm à l'est du VOR de Rivière-du-Loup (YRI), l'équipage a déclaré une urgence médicale. L'appareil s'est posé à l'aéroport de Québec /Jean-Lesage (CYQB) à 1852Z, pour y débarquer une passagère souffrante et est redécollé vers sa destination à 1950Z. Impact minime sur l'exploitation.

Incident at MONTRÉAL INTL (MIRABEL) QC (CYMX)

The B407, Registration N404AR, VFR from Mirabel (CYMX) to St-Hubert (CYHU), left BELL HELICOPTER Class G and entered the Mirabel Class C area without clearance. It crossed the approach of rwy 29 1 NM ahead of CMM 312 (A330), which was established on final. The traffic had been exchanged to CMM312, but it did not see it. There was no loss of separation. N404AR was at 500 feet, and CMM302 was at 1,500 feet 1 radar mile from the helicopter. Le B407, immatriculé N404AR, VFR de Mirabel (CYMX) vers St-Hubert (CYHU) a quitté la classe "G" de BELL HELICOPTÈRE et a pénétré, sans autorisation, la zone de classe "C" de Mirabel. Ce dernier a traversé l'approche de la piste 29, 1nm devant CMM 312 (A330), qui était établi en finale. Le trafic avait été échangé à CMM312, mais ce dernier ne l'a jamais vu. Il n'y a pas eu de perte d'espacement. N404AR était à 500 pieds et CMM302 à 1500 pieds et 1 mille radar de l'hélicoptère.

Incident at Gander Oceanic

CMM312 A330 enroute London to Toronto advised of Passenger Medical Emergency (Cardiac Arrest) and request divert to Santa Maria. ATC unable due to Traffic. CMM312 executed contingency climb to FL390 and was cleared to Santa Maria. At 45N29W CMM312 advised that passenger had died and flight was recleared to Halifax. Nil TSB

Incident at Mirabel

CMM312, IFR from Gatwick to Mirabel, on final for runway 24, reported having struck a number of small birds. One bird carcass was found. CMM312, IFR de Gatwick vers Mirabel, en finale pour la piste 24, rapporte avoir frappé plusieurs petits oiseaux. Une carcasse d'oiseau a été retrouvée.
