Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: The crew experienced a take off configuration warning horn as soon as they applied thrust. While the aircraft was at low speed, they decided to reject take off. The crew re-seated the speed brake lever into the detent and taxied around for departure. The aircraft departed uneventfully.
CJA136, Boeing 737-500, enroute from Halifax (CYHZ) to St. John?s (CYYT) conducted a low speed rejected take-off on Runway 23 due to an indication problem. No assistance was required. The aircraft vacated in Taxi E and taxied around for a departure. Aircraft departed at 21:41Z. Nil TSB.

Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

Update July 16, 2004 from Maintenance and Manufacturing. Bird strike inspection. Engine runs c/o IAW Canjet run-up manual. All parameters normal. No visual damage noted in inlet. A/C returned to service. Debris removed and engine bore scoped.
CJA136 B737 landing Halifax reported a possible bird strike. Airport Duty Manager found one dead crow. Nil TSB

Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

A B737 (CJA136) advised Halifax TCU at 1600Z of a medical emergency and requested a priority. The aircraft landed safely at 1611Z with an ambulance standing by. Canjet 420 was delayed on the apron for two minutes. There were no delays to any other aircraft.
