Incident at OTTAWA / MACDONALD-CARTIER INTL ON (CYOW) (Overshoot/missed approach)

The Porter Airlines Inc. Dehavilland DHC8 402 aircraft (operating as POE268) was completing a scheduled IFR flight from Moncton (CYQM) to Ottawa (CYOW). The privately operated Aero Canada Support Inc. Beech B200 aircraft (operating as CFC1652) was on an IFR flight from Ottawa to Andrews AFB (US) (KADW). The Ottawa Aviation Services Diamond DA 20 A1 aircraft (C-FFLU) was on a local VFR flight from Ottawa. While on approach for runway 14, the flight crew of POE268 were instructed to carry out a go-around. This was due to CFC1652 being in position on runway 14. Their take-off clearance had been held due to an over flight by C-FFLU.
