Incident at Halifax Intl (Aerodrome - other)

CDN885 B737 landed on rwy 15 at 1320z, and reported a two foot piece of rubber on the rwy. CDN939 A320 waited for field maintenance to remove the FOD. Material was removed, and CDN939 departed at 1328z. Material was crack filling rubber. Nil TSB

July 14, 1999

Incident at Halifax Intl (Aerodrome - other)

CDN939 B737 was observed, by the field foreman, to ingest a piece of plastic similar to a garbage bag into the left engine. The pilot was advised and he completed a run-up on a taxiway followed by a full power run-up on the runway. During the run-up, debris was observed ejecting from the rear of the engine. The pilot declared the engine operating normally and departed at 1121z. TSB Case Closed.

NWA1748 DC9 on final approach runway 24. CDN939 B737 in position runway 24 cleared for takeoff. NWA1748 overshot runway 24 and was given a left turn to 090 degress. Nil TSB involvement.

"1C" (airborne malfunction) reponse on CDN939 from YHZ, landed runway 06L with port engine shut down. Arrived at 1656Z without incident. Ops. Impact -- none.
