The pilot of a Good Spirit Air Service Ayres S2R-T34 (C-FSPZ) was conducting circuits at Yorkton, SK (CYQV) when they reported a Cessna overhead the field. The flight service station (FSS) had no contact with the unknown Cessna. The aircraft joined the circuit and landed. The pilot of a Crowsnest Properties and Developments Ltd. Cessna 172M (C-GGTB) on a flight to Yorkton, SK (CYQV) contacted the FSS to advise that their radio had failed.

Incident at DAUPHIN (LT. COL W.G. (BILLY) BARKER, VC APRT) MB (CYDN) (Aerodrome - other)

Winnipeg FSS provided an airport advisory for the pilot of C-GGTB, a Cessna 172, who was about to take off at Dauphin to practice circuits on Runway 32. The driver of Tractor 15 then informed FSS that he was within 200 feet of the runway lights beside Runway 32. The driver had not received authorization to enter the field or to operate near the runway. OPI - Aerodrome Safety UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the site was audited due to repeated unauthorized vehicle procedures on the airside. The audit ensured that AVOPs were in place and adequate. The airport plan was reviewed and the operator advised to adhere to the plan.
