at STEINBACH (SOUTH) MB (CKK7)
The instructor and student pilot in C-FVJC, a Beech Travel Air, were conducting circuits at Steinback South when the landing gear was raised with the aircraft still on the ground. The aircraft collapsed onto the runway and skidded to a stop. The two occupants were not injured, but there is substantial damage to the belly, flaps and propellers.
UPDATE TSB reported that the Harv's Air Ltd Beech D95A Travel Air, C-FVJC, was on a local training flight at Steinbach South, MB. During a touch-and-go landing, the landing gear retracted and the aircraft skidded to a halt on the runway with substantial damage. There were no injuries.
