Incident at YORKTON MUNI SK (CYQV)

The pilot of a Good Spirit Air Service Ayres S2R-T34 (C-FSPZ) was conducting circuits at Yorkton, SK (CYQV) when they reported a Cessna overhead the field. The flight service station (FSS) had no contact with the unknown Cessna. The aircraft joined the circuit and landed. The pilot of a Crowsnest Properties and Developments Ltd. Cessna 172M (C-GGTB) on a flight to Yorkton, SK (CYQV) contacted the FSS to advise that their radio had failed.

Incident at YORKTON MUNI SK (CYQV) (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)

C-FSPZ, a Miccar Aerial Air Tractor, landed on Runway 12/30 at Yorkton and the pilot reported a flat tire. The runway was closed until the aircraft could be removed and the runway re-opened 20 minutes later at 2351z.

Incident at YORKTON MUNI SK (CYQV)

C-FSPZ, an Air Tractor AT 401, was inbound to Yorkton and the pilot advised Regina FSS that he would be landing on Runway 12. At 1742z, the pilot reported having landed on Runway 12 and the engine quit; it took approximately 2 minutes for the pilot to re-start the engine and exit the runway.
