A Private Air Inc. Cessna 560XL (C-FBXL/FSY298) from Toronto/Pearson, ON (CYYZ) to Hamilton, ON (CYHM) rejected its takeoff from Runway 05 due to an annunciator light. No operational impact.

A Private Air Cessna 560XL (C-FBXL/FSY298) from Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ) to Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) received and read back instruction to taxi on Taxiways A and A3 and to hold short of Runway 24L. The aircraft was seen beyond the hold line for Runway 24L. Impact on operations: a Jazz Aviation Bombardier CL-600-2D24 (C-FJZL/JZA8975 from Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) to Ottawa/Macdonald-Cartier, ON (CYOW) had to reject its takeoff and a Jazz Aviation de Havilland DHC-8-301 (C-GUON/JZA8685) from Bagotville, QC (CYBG) to Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) conducted a go-around.

An Algonquin Airlink Cessna 560XL (FSY928) on a flight from Joplin, MO (KJLN) to Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ) was instructed to overshoot Runway 23 due to an Air Canada Boeing 787-9 (C-FGEO/ACA56) on a flight form Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ) to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (OMDB) on the runway. FSY928 returned to land safely. No impact to operations.
UPDATE: Correction: The aircraft owner/ operator changed from Algonquin Airlink to Private Air (C-FBXL/ FSY298).

A Wetaskiwin Air Services Aerostar 601P (C-FNKY) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Wetaskiwin, AB (CEX3) deviated from the assigned standard instrument departure (SID) and infringed upon the flight path the subsequent departure, an Airsprint Cessna 560XL (C-FBXL/ ASP298) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Springbank, AB (CYBW).
Update from Commercial & Business Aviation: The pilot was ?renting? the aircraft for personal use. The pilot was given an IFR clearance (YVR J486 LYTON) but could not find J486 in any of the databases (GPS and laptop). The pilot decided to continue VFR until the situation was resolved. The flight was in instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) at 3500ASL. Upon contact with departure, Air Traffic Control (ATC) provided an amended clearance (direct Wetaskiwin). The pilot has discussed the issue with the Chief Pilot. The plan to continue despite not having a clear idea of where they needed to go was acknowledged as being unsound. The pilot will seek clarification prior to accepting unfamiliar clearance in the future.

An Airsprint Cessna 560XL (C-FBXL/ ASP298) from Kamloops, BC (CYKA) to Calgary, AB (CYYC) was taxiing for departure runway 26 as an American corporately registered Cessna 208B (N9829B) on a local flight from Kamloops, BC (CYKA) was releasing para-jumpers overhead CYKA (NOTAM 140223). An impact on operations occurred when ASP298 halted their take off roll due to a para-jumper descending off-course from the designated landing zone on the north side of the airport, through the departure path of runway 26 to the south side of the airport. ASP298 waited until the para-jumper was safely on the ground well clear of runway 26 before departing. The para-jumper remained in place until picked up by an airport staff vehicle. There was no further impact on operations.
Update Aviation Enforcement: This incident has been reviewed by Civil Aviation Enforcement and the appropriate action has been taken. This matter is now closed.

The AirSprint Inc. Cessna 560XL aircraft (C-FBXl, operating as ASP298) was preparing to depart on an IFR flight from Toronto (Buttonville) Municipal Airport (CYKZ) to Jackson-Evers International Airport, MS (U.S.A.) (KJAN). NAV CANADA staff at Buttonville Tower reported that runway 03/21 was closed for construction from 1500Z until 2200Z. The Airsprint Inc. Cessna 560XL aircraft was unable to taxi to runway 15 via the apron to taxiway DELTA. The flight crew requested to taxi via runway 21 and then backtrack along runway 15. NAV CANADA staff were unable to contact the Airport Manager. The Tower Manager was advised. Ops. impact -- none.

Airsprint Flight ASP298 a Cessna C56X reported an unsafe gear indication at Vancouver. The pilot of the aircraft conducted a fly-by the control tower. It was observed that the right main landing gear did not appear to be extended. The pilot resolved the situation and landed on Runway 26L at 1824Z.
UPDATE / Add info from TSB: A07P0029: The Airsprint Inc. Cessna Citation 560XL aircraft, C-FBXL, operating as ASP298, flew from Edmonton to Vancouver. On final approach to runway 26L, when the landing gear was selected, the crew received an unsafe gear indication for the right main gear. The crew conducted a missed approach but left the gear down. While on the missed approach the tower confirmed the right main gear was not extended. The crew entered a hold and recycled the gear several times without success. They completed the appropriate checklist which included a manual extension. This was successful and a positive down and locked indication was obtained for all three wheels. The aircraft then landed on runway 26L without further difficulty. No emergency was declared but AFF was activated. The aircraft was ferried to Edmonton for maintenance. The landing gear system was serviced, a test flight conducted and the aircraft returned to service.

The pilot of the Midget Mustang, C-FBXL, departed Steinbach for Morris, Manitoba on his first flight of the season. With the application of the brakes during the landing roll in Morris, the aircraft came to rest on its nose cowling and propellor. The aircraft sustained minor damage while the pilot was uninjured.
