Incident at PORCUPINE PLAIN SK (CKD2)

The pilot of an Upper Valley Aviation Ltd. Piper PA-28-140 (C-FBUL) indicated their Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) was going off with no incident having occurred, and that they were safe and in no distress. Information was passed on to the Winnipeg (YWG) shift manager.

Incident at CAMPBELL RIVER BC (CYBL)

UPDATE from General Aviation: The pilot was counselled to get and use an up-to-date flight supplement. No further action required.
C-FBUL a privately-registered Piper P28A was observed crossing the mid field for downwind leg and landed safely on Campbell River Runway 29. There was no comunication from the pilot on the mandatory frequency. All attempts by FSS to contact the pilot were unanswered. After talking with the pilot, it was discovered the pilot was on the wrong frequency.
