BAW2037, Boeing 777-200, enroute from London (EGKK) to Orlando (KMCO), at 14:50Z, position 43N050W, declared a Medical Emergency (passenger) to New York and requested to divert St. John's (CYYT). Air Traffic Control (ATC) cleared the flight as requested. The aircraft landed in St. John's at 15:38Z. Nil TSB.

Incident at Aircraft routing 46N040W 43N050W 38N060W ELTIN (Gander ACC) (ATS operating irregularity)

BAW2037, Boeing 777-200 was enroute from London (EGKK) to Orlando (KMCO), aircraft routing 46N040W 43N050W 38N060W ELTIN. The route coordinated with the next agency was 42N050W. There was no loss of separation, coordination was corrected in Gander Airspace. TSB evaluating.

Incident at Gander Domestic FIR (ATS operating irregularity)

BAW2037, Boeing 777-200, enroute from London (EGKK) to Orlando (KMCO), was cleared on an Oceanic route that differed from its Flight Plan. Procedures require that upon contact with Gander Domestic control, an enroute clearance be issued to the aircraft restoring the flight to its Flight Plan or on a new route. This clearance was never issued resulting in the aircraft entering New York Oceanic on a routing that was not coordinated or protected. There was no traffic. TSB Evaluating.

Incident at Gander Oceanic

BAW2037 B747 FL340 advised that he had a TCAS advisory on SWR102 FL330 and requested FL343. ATC advised that there was other traffic and higher altitude was not available. BAW2037 advised he had SWR102 visual and would not be following the advisory.
