Incident at MONTRÉAL / PIERRE ELLIOTT TRUDEAU INTL QC (CYUL)

The Hémisph-Air Cessna C172 was making a local VFR flight in the vicinity of Dorval (CYUL). When 2 miles east of the airport, the pilot advised that he had an emergency, specifying a loss of engine power. He turned back and landed on Rwy 24L at 2302Z. Four aircraft suffered a delay: APO205, ARN888, AAJ220 and ACA688. Le Cessna C172 d'Hémisph-Air effectuait un vol local VFR dans la zone de Dorval (CYUL). À 2 milles à l'est de l'aéroport, le pilote avise qu'il a une urgence et précise que c'est une perte de pouvoir du moteur. Il revient atterrir sur la piste 24L à 2302Z. Quatre aéronefs ont subi un délai: APO205, ARN888, AAJ220 et ACA688.

Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT) (Aerodrome - runway or taxiway surface condition)

N1373L C337 enroute Bangor to St.John's , landed on runway 34 and had difficulty exiting active runway due to slippery surface conditions. Due to this event ARN888 had to execute a missed approach and then N1373L was able to exit the runway shortly afterward and did not interfere with any other traffic. Nil TSB

Incident at St. John's NF

ARN888 BA46 on short final Runway 11 executed missed approach due problem with flaps. Subsequently reported flaps inoperative, held for 40 minutes to burn fuel, and landed Runway 29 at 0141 UTC. Flight had to remain on runway for 15 minutes to allow brakes to cool. Nil impact on traffic. TSB Case Closed more to follow. Update: No further action TSB file # A00A0036

Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

ARN888 a BA146 was IFR out of Halifax for St. John's when the crew requested a return to Halifax due to a problem with the Vertical Speed indicator. No assistance required. The aircraft landed at 0254z. TSB no involvement.

Incident at Dorval

After taking off IFR for Halifax, the pilot advised of an unsafe gear indication. He did a low pass by the tower and was told that one of the doors looked open. The pilot decided to continue to Halifax at reduced speed.

The aircraft, IFR Dorval to Mirabel, lost an engine on take off. It continued to Mirabel where it landed late on three engines instead of four.
