ARN885 BA146 rejected take-off roll in Moncton due to fuel door indication. Aircraft taxied to terminal, reset door and subsequently departed . No assistance required. Nil TSB

Incident at Halifax

ARN885 BA46 was on right base, vectored for an approach runway 24 ahead of ARN827 DH8 who was vectored for a straight in on runway 24. Both aircraft approached within 2 miles of one another and about 600 feet before ARN was turned to a heading of 180 and brought around for another approach. Case Closed Update: ARN885 was to land ahead of ARN827and during the radar vectors, separation between the aircraft eroded to 2 miles horizontally and 800 feet vertically where 3 miles horizontal or 1000 feet vertical separtion is required. ARN827 was instructed to turn to a heading of 180 degrees and vectored around for another approach. Both aircraft landed without further incident. TSB File # A99A0141

Other aircraft: ARN885, Air Nova, BA46, IFR from Moncton to Dorval. EXA55 took off IFR from Dorval to Boston. He was following ARN885 on radar vectors. ARN885 was in descent for Dorval. EXA55 approached within about 2 miles and 600 ft while the minimum separation is 3 miles or 1000 ft. Autre aéronef: ARN885, British Aerospace BA46, Air Nova, IFR de Moncton vers Dorval. ARN885 DH8 departing runway 15 reported a TCAS alert 2.5 miles off the end of the runway and 100 feet below. There was VFR traffic in the area working the tower. The Tower controller indicated that there was adequate room as far as they were concerned. Nil TSB

ARN885 was on a flight from Newark to Halifax when the crew requested priority for medical reasons. No details on the type of problem were provided. Company handling notification requirements. Landed safely at 1851Z. Two aircraft delayed to accommodate the request for priority.
