Incident at JEBBY (Communication navigation surveillance/air traffic system)

Moncton, NB (CYQM) ACC received an estimate on an Air France Boeing 747 400 (AFR695) from Miami, FL (KMIA) to Paris/ Charles de Gaulle (LFPG) from NY Oceanic. The NY Oceanic controller stated M202 LOMPI COLOR, the CYQM controller's strip showed M201 CARAC COLOR and the CYQM controller read back NOVOK (NOVOK is on M201) LOMPI COLOR. The NY Oceanic controller did not correct the CYQM controller's incorrect read back. No other aircraft were in the vicinity, no impact on the operation. Separation was not assured.

Incident at Moncton Area Control Centre

The New York Air Route Traffic Control Centre (ARTCC) contacted the Moncton Area Control Centre with an estimate on AFR695, which had declared a medical emergency and was rerouted direct to Boston (KBOS). Fuel was dumped in New York Oceanic Airspace, and the aircraft requested medical assistance upon arrival. The Boston Centre was advised.
