Incident at TORONTO / LESTER B. PEARSON INTL ON (CYYZ) (Overshoot/missed approach)
The first Air Canada Embraer ERJ-190-100-IGW aircraft (operating as ACA7059) was concluding a scheduled IFR flight from Halifax (Stanfield) International Airport (CYHZ) to Toronto (LBPIA) (CYYZ). The second Air Canada Embraer ERJ-190-100-IGW aircraft (operating as ACA196) was conducting a scheduled IFR flight from Toronto (LBPIA) (CYYZ) to Ottawa (M-CIA) (CYOW). NAV CANADA staff at Toronto Tower instructed the flight crew of ACA7059 to overshoot runway 24L due to ACA196 still on the take-off roll. Ops. impact - none.

Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)
ACA7059, Embraer ERJ190, enroute from St. John?s (CYYT) to Halifax (CYHZ), flew the entire flight with the landing gear down due to an equipment issue No emergency was declared and no assistance was required.

Initial information received from T.S.B. Initial Notification (#A07O0079): The Air Canada Airbus A-340-313 aircraft (operating as Air Canada flight ACA7059 -- a positioning flight without any cabin crew or passengers) flight crew received a wind shear alert on final approach to Toronto (LBPIA) (CYYZ) and carried out an overshoot. The aircraft subsequently landed without incident on another runway. Ops. impact -- unknown.
