Incident at 8 NM E OTTAWA / MACDONALD-CARTIER INTL ON (CYOW)

An Air Canada Embraer E190 (ACA634) from Ottawa, ON (CYOW) to Montreal, QC (CYUL), at level 5000 feet, confirmed have the VFR traffic, a Cassandre Holding Cessna 177 (C-FWTO) from Peterborough, ON (CYPQ) to Neuville, QC (CNV9) in view, who was at level 5500 feet. However, ACA634 received a resolution advisory (RA) and advised descending to 4900 feet just before enroute without impact. No impact on operations.

An Air Canada Embraer E190 (ACA634), from Ottawa, ON (CYOW), to Montréal, QC (CYUL), pulled up from Runway 24L, about 1/2 NM on final, because of a Jazz de Havilland DHC 8-102 (JZA8697), from Sept-Îles, QC (CYZV), to Montréal, QC (CYUL), which was slow to leave the runway for A4. No other impact on operations.

Incident at 100NE YHZ

UPDATE: TSB REPORT#A13A0066: The Air Canada Embraer 190 (registration C-FHKA) aeroplane departed Montreal Trudeau (CYUL) enroute to St John's International (CYYT). While in cruise flight over Charlottetown (CYYG) an engine 1 oil low pressure EICAS was generated. The crew actioned the quick reference handbook and shutdown the number 1 engine. The crew declared an emergency and requested diversion to Halifax. A safe landing was made at 2232. Maintenance replaced an oil pressure transmitter and the aircraft was returned to service.
An Air Canada Embraer E190 (ACA634) on a flight from Montreal, QC (CYUL) to St. John's, NL (CYYT) lost an engine and declared an emergency and advised in emergency descent. Other aircraft were turned out of the way and the flight was given further descent and clearance to Halifax, NS (CYHZ). Halifax Tower was advised to inform Emergency Response Services. The aircraft landed safely at time 0132Z. No impact to the operation

Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

ACA634 an Airbus A320 from Montreal to Halifax was on descent out of 12,000 when the pilot advised ATC that an unbuckled passenger had been injured due to turbulence. It was suspected the passenger had a possible broken ankle. An ambulance was called. The aircraft landed safely at 0222Z. TSB - Case Closed
TSB - A03A0123: The Airbus A320 aircraft was on a flight from Montreal to Halifax and shortly after top of descent, the flight encountered sudden, unreported moderate turbulence. The seat belt sign was immediately selected on. The turbulence then became light and at no time thereafter was it more than light as felt from the flight deck. One of the aft cabin flight attendants reported that a female passenger had fallen on the first jolt of turbulence as she was exiting a lavatory with her infant in arms and apparently suffered a broken ankle. Medlink was contacted and an ambulance was requested.
