Incident at Vancouver (Conflict - loss of separation, ATS operating irregularity)

ABL 621 was issued heading 140, maintain 2000 by VR tower. On initial contact with departure, controller cleared aircraft to maintain 11 thousand, runway heading. The following aircraft, GLR798, was recleared to maintain 2000, turn left heading 050. The two aircraft had less than required separation at this point (approx. 2.5 nm and 800'). UPDATE: Correction - change from ABL610 to ABL621.

May 14, 1996

Incident at Calgary, Alberta (ATS operating irregularity)

Vehicle coordinated to be on runway 34 of threshold at 16. ABL610 cleared to position runway 34 at midfield. ABL610 subsequently cleared for take-off when ground controller immediately noted error. Take-off clearance continued as ABL610 had started take-off roll. SAB contacted tower and was advised that the take-off roll was cancelled after aircraft rolled about 200 feet.

Incident at KELOWNA

DH8 ABL610 WHILE BEING DEICED THE BOOM WAS DRIVEN INTO THE PORT SIDE OF THE HORIZONTAL STABILIZER. EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE WAS NOT REPORTED. AIRCRAFT REPAIRED AT KELOWNA FLIGHTCRAFT. TIME = 1910Z. ACTION = TAH.
