Incident at MONTRÉAL / PIERRE ELLIOTT TRUDEAU INTL QC (CYUL) (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)

While taking off from Runway 06R, an Endeavor Air Bombardier CL-600-2D24 (Series 900) (EDV5526), from Montreal/Trudeau, QC (CYUL) to Atlanta/Hartsfield-Jackson, GA (KATL) reported problems with its main landing gear and declared an emergency. Coordination carried out. EDV5526 was on the ground on Runway 24L at 2209Z. Impact: Runway 06R/24L was closed from 2209Z to 2241Z. The National Operations Centre (NOC) and the Aviation Operations Centre (AVOPS) were notified.
UPDATE: TSB Report #A20Q0008: N695CA, an Endeavor Air CL-600-2D24 (CRJ900) (EDV5526), was on an IFR flight from Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) to Hartsfield/Jackson Atlanta Intl., GA (KATL) in the U.S. with 76 passengers and 4 crew members on board. During the initial climb after takeoff from Runway 06R, a brakes overheated indication appeared. The crew declared an emergency and went back to land on Runway 24L without incident, and afterwards, the aircraft was towed to the gate. No one was injured, and the aircraft was not damaged. The post-flight inspect revealed that the indication was erroneous.

The flight descended to 14 000ft and requested routing to New York/John F. Kennedy, NY (KJFK) as a new destination. No impact to operations.

South Ground Controller received flight data entry (FDE) for a Sky Regional Airlines Embraer ERJ 170-200 SU (SKV7548) from Toronto/Pearson, ON (CYYZ) to Atlanta/Hartsfield–Jackson, GA (KATL) from the Apron Management Unit (AMU). Another Sky Regional Airlines Embraer ERJ 170-200 SU (C-FJBO/SKV7538) from Toronto/Pearson, ON (CYYZ) to Philadelphia, PA (KPHL) called for taxi clearance, and the controller issued taxi instructions for SKV7548. Pilot readback taxi clearance and frequency change to tower as SKV7538. South Tower Controller issued take off clearance to SKV7548 as per FDE, and the pilot responded to the clearance as SKV7538. The Terminal Control Unit (TCU) informed the tower that the wrong aircraft had departed.
