The aircraft indicated it was following the route of ODAXY GAULT. No impact on operations.

Update TSB Report #A19O0117: C-FIUR, a Boeing 777 operated by Air Canada, was conducting flight ACA883 from Copenhagen Kobenhavn/Kastrup (EKCH), Denmark to Toronto/Lester B. Pearson Intl (CYYZ), ON. C-GKEJ, a Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft operated by Air Georgian, was conducting flight GGN7339 from CYYZ to John Glenn Columbus Intl (KCMH), Ohio. While taxiing for departure at CYYZ, C-GKEJ was instructed by Tower ATC to line up on Runway 33R and was given an amendment to their standard instrument departure (SID). C-FIUR, who just landed on Runway 33L, was instructed by the Ground ATC to cross Runway 33R at Taxiway H in order to taxi to the terminal. While C-FIUR was crossing Runway 33R, C-GKEJ began the take-off roll, without clearance. When the crew of C-GKEJ saw C-FIUR over the crest of the runway, they aborted the take-off, and exited the runway via taxiway Bravo2.

Update TSB #A19A0036: LN-LNB, a Boeing 787-8 aircraft operated by Norwegian Air Shuttle, was conducting flight NAX7055 from Copenhagen/København Kastrup (EKCH), Denmark to Orlando Intl (KMCO), FL with 14 crew members and 227 passengers on board. During cruise flight approximately 265 nm north east of Goose Bay (CYYR), NL, the aircraft experienced an exhaust gas temperature exceedance, followed by a roll back and vibration of the number 1 engine. The flight crew requested a descent and a diversion to CYYR, and completed the QRH memory items and checklist. The aircraft dumped fuel, and landed with the number 1 thrust lever at idle without further incident.

While in cruise flight at FL350 approximately 70 nautical miles South West of Oslo Gardermoen, Norway (ENGM), the flight crew elected to divert the aircraft to Copenhagen/København ? Kastrup, Denmark (EKCH) due to a disruptive passenger. The flight crew executed an overweight landing at EKCH 45 minutes later. The passenger was removed and the flight continued to destination without further event.

Incident at 175NM N GOOSE BAY NL (CYYR)

UPDATE: TSB REPORT#A17A0028: LN-RKP, an Airbus 340-300 aircraft operated by Scandinavian Airlines, was conducting flight SAS944 from Chicago/O'Hare Intl, IL (KORD) to Copenhagen/København ? Kastrup, Denmark (EKCH). During cruise flight at FL350 approximately 175 nautical miles North of Goose Bay, NL (CYYR), the flight crew received an UNSAFE DOOR signal due to a faulty sensor which activated. Additionally, the cabin temperature became too warm. The flight crew consulted the computer reset table and proceeded to reset the cabin temperature zone controller computer. This action caused both air conditioning packs to go offline due to the closure of both flow control valves; a loss of pressurization ensued. The flight crew noted the cabin altitude increasing, declared an emergency, conducted an emergency descent to 14 000 feet and diverted to CYYR where the aircraft landed without further event. Maintenance personnel found no fault with the aircraft, however the loss of pressurization was caused by the closing of both Flow Control Valves due to the combination of an inflight unsafe door signal and the crew resetting the Zone Controller.
UPDATE: Aviation Incident Report#14744: Goose Bay Airport, NL (CYYR) reported a mechanical diversion involving a Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A330-343 (LNRKP/SAS944). The flight was experiencing cabin pressurization problems.
At approximately 0605Z, a Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A330-343 (LNRKP/SAS944), from Chicago, IL (KORD) to Copenhagen, Denmark (EKCH) requested to lower altitude due to a pressurization issue and declared an emergency squawking code 7700. The flight was cleared to 140 and direct to Goose Bay, NL (CYYR). The flight held for a short period to reduce fuel and weight before commencing an approach. The flight landed at 0653Z without incident.

An Air Canada Boeing 787-9 (ACA882) from Toronto, ON (CYYZ) to Copenhagen, Denmark (EKCH) declared Mayday at 0154Z due to pressurization problem, returning to Toronto. Aircraft landed safely Runway 23 at 0252Z. Emergency vehicles on standby and followed aircraft to gate as requested by crew.
UPDATE: TSB#A16O0087: C-FGHZ, a Boeing 787-900 operated by Air Canada as flight AC882 from Toronto/LBPIA, ON (CYYZ) to Copenhagen/København-Kastrup, Denmark (EKCH), was at FL250 just east of Oshawa, ON, when the crew noticed that the cabin altitude was climbing through 9800 feet. The crew contacted ATC, requested an immediate descent to FL100 and declared an emergency. After dumping fuel to the maximum landing weight of the aircraft, the flight landed safely in CYYZ with ARFF standing by. The operator?s maintenance discovered that the Electronic and Equipment (E/E) bay cooling exhaust valve was open to 94% of the full open position. The aft E/E cooling exhaust fan assembly was replaced per AMM 21-27-45-00A-520A-A and 21-27-45-00A-720A-A. After a successful operational check, the aircraft was returned to service.

Incident at TRENTON ON (CYTR)

UPDATE: TSB#15O0165: The Air Canada Boeing 787-800 aircraft (ACA883, C-GHPQ) was en route to Toronto/LBPIA, ON (CYYZ) when the crew decided to divert to Trenton, ON (CYTR) due to the weather at destination and traffic in the terminal airspace. Trenton ATC advised the crew that an emergency would have to be declared so that the aircraft could land at the military base. The crew declared a low fuel emergency and landed in Trenton. After refueling, the aircraft completed the flight to Toronto.

At 0659Z, a Norwegian Air Shuttle Boeing 787-8 (LNLNC/ NAX7042) from Fort Lauderdale, FL (KFLL) to Copenhagen, Denmark (EKCH) requested an oceanic clearance from Gander prior to 44/50. Clearance was issued and confirmed. Flight was not off course and no other traffic affected.

Incident at EVABU INTERSECTION

At EVABU, An Air Greenland Boeing 737 700 (OYJTU/ GRL786) from Narsarsuaq, Greenland (BGBW) to Copenhagen, Denmark (EKCH) reported that their next point would be 63N40W when their oceanic clearance was 64N40W. The flight was queried and confirmed the incorrect point. Gander Oceanic then re-cleared the flight to the correct fix of 64N40W.

A TUIFly Nordic Boeing 767 300 (BLX850) from Cancun, Mexico to Copenhagen, Denmark (EKCH) called High Level controller 1 minute prior to JEBBY Intersection. Moncton controller had not received an estimate from New York Oceanic. New York Oceanic called just as the aircraft was passing JEBBY Intersection. There was a minute separation with a Delta Air Lines Boeing 767 400 (DAL402) from New York, NY (KJFK) to London, UK (EGLL) prior to radar identification.

UPDATE: Aviation Incident Report#13823: A Norwegian Air Boeing 787-8 (EILNE / NAX7012) reported a medical emergency enroute from New York, NY (KJFK) to Copenhagen, DK (EKCH). A passenger was unconscious and the crew requested an ambulance on arrival into Goose Bay, NL (CYYR).
At 0710Z and 290 NM southeast of Goose Bay, NL (CYYR), a Norwegian Air International Boeing 787-8 (EILNE / NAX7012) from New York, NY (KJFK) to Copenhagen, Denmark (EKCH) reported a medical emergency and requested to divert to CYYR. Flight was cleared as requested; no traffic. Aircraft landed at 0759Z.
