An automatic dependent surveillance – contract (ADS-C) report indicated that an Aer Lingus Boeing 757-200 (EICJX/EIN1TV) from Dublin, Ireland (EIDW) to Chicago/OHare Intl, IL (KORD) was not following the route in its cleared flight plan. EIN1TV was following SSM WYNDE1 KORD, while the route in its flight plan was SSM KORD. No impact.

An Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 777-300 (ETH500) from Dublin, Ireland (EIDW) to Washington/Dulles Intl, VA (KIAD) received and read back clearance to go directly to (ALB) Albany, but turned too far to the left off the path. Approximately 10 minutes later, ETH500 was questioned on its route and corrected the heading to go directly to Albany. No impact on operations.

Severe turbulence reported at FL310 by an Aer Lingus Ltd. Airbus A330-300 (EIN104) from New York/John F. Kennedy, NY (KJFK) to Dublin, Ireland (EIDW). Aircraft declared "mayday" and executed an immediate descent to FL290. No injuries or damage. No impact on operations. National Operations Centre (NOC) advised.
Update TSB Report #A20A0008: EI-GAJ an Airbus 330-300 aircraft operated by Aer Lingus was conducting flight EIN104 from John F Kennedy (KJFK) airport, New York, to Dublin airport (EIDW), Ireland. While in cruise at FL310 and approximately 50 NM NE of Halifax, Nova Scotia, the aircraft encountered severe turbulence. The crew declared a MAYDAY and immediately began a descent to FL290. There were no injuries to the crew or passengers nor damage to the aircraft. The aircraft continued to destination.

Update TSB #A19P0106: C-GEFA, an Airbus A330-343 aircraft operated by Air Canada was conducting flight ACA863 from Dubai Intl (OMDB), UAE to Vancouver Intl (CYVR), BC with 11 crew members and 282 passengers on board. Prior arrival to CYVR, the flight crew reported that a cabin crew member was ill and duties were distributed among the rest of cabin crew. The flight crew declared an emergency, the aircraft landed without further incident.

On initial contact off of Hamilton, ON (CYHM) Runway 06, an American, corporately registered Piper PA-30 (N8838Y) from Hamilton, ON (CYHM) to Massena, NY (KMSS) was instructed to climb to 5000 feet and, after noise abatement, to turn right heading 110, which was read back correctly. N8838Y was then observed to begin the right turn through 2000 feet as a Norwegian Air International Ltd. Boeing 737-800 (IBK1841) from Hamilton, ON (CYHM) to Dublin, Ireland (EIDW) became airborne off Runway 12. N8838Y was instructed to head 090 and was advised that they had turned early, traffic was passed. Both aircraft continued on divergent headings. No operational impact.

An Air Canada Airbus A330-343 (C-GFAF/ACA842) from Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ) to Dublin, Ireland (EIDW) and elected to return to CYYZ due to engine vibration. At 20NM final, ACA842 declared PAN PAN and landed with aircraft rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) on standby at CYYZ Runway 23 without issues at 0415Z.
Update TSB #A19O0061: C-GFAF, an Air Canada Airbus A330 aircraft (flight AC842) departed Toronto/LBPIA (CYYZ). After taking off the flight crew experienced an unusual engine vibration. In discussion with maintenance the flight crew decided to return to CYYZ. A PAN PAN was declared and the aircraft landed uneventfully. ARFF met the aircraft on arrival and after inspection the aircraft taxied to gate. Maintenance identified a bird strike that resulted in damage to fan blades 22, 23, and 24. The blades were replaced and the aircraft returned to service.

TSB Report #A19F0296: C-GHQY, a Boeing 787-8 was operated by Air Canada as flight AC0857 from London/Heathrow (EGLL), England to Toronto/Lester B. Pearson Intl. (CYYZ), ON. In cruise, approximately 340nm WNW of Dublin Intl.(EIDW), Ireland, flight crew heard a loud bang and the captain’s window shattered. QRH actions were completed, dispatch was advised and the decision was made to divert to EIDW. A PanPan was declared with Shanwick Oceanic, flight descended to FL250 and slowed to minimize pressure on window. Flight landed without further incident.

TSB #A19F0207: C-FMLV, an Air Canada rouge B767, was conducting flight ROU 1901 from Eleftherios Venizelos Intl (LGAV) Athens to Lester B. Pearson Intl (CYYZ) Toronto. At approximately 300 nm of Dublin Intl (EIDW), in the vicinity of the SPY VOR/DME (SPIKJKERBOOR), NL, the crew received a HYD quantity ECAIS message. The checklist was actioned, a PAN PAN advised, and the crew intended to divert to Heathrow International (EGLL). EGLL would not accept the flight unless the crew declared a Mayday. Instead, the crew elected to divert to EIDW and landed uneventfully.
