After a Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 (DLH493) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Frankfurt, Germany (EDDF) was taxied to position on Runway 08R, they advised they needed 90 seconds in position to clear aircraft engines after de-icing. A Pacific Coastal Airlines Saab 340B (C-FPCZ/PCO846) from Port Hardy, BC (CYZT) to Vancouver, BC (CYVR) was issued a missed approach due to this. PCO846 vectored for second approach and landed Runway 08L at 0053Z.

The aircraft landed without incident at 1626Z. No impact on operations.
TSB Update #A19Q0114: N768AA, an American Airlines Boeing 777-200, was on instrument flight rules (IFR) flight AAL71 from Frankfurt/Rhein-Main, Germany (EDDF) to Dallas-Fort Worth Intl, TX (KDFW) with 13 crew members and 271 passengers on board. While the aircraft was approximately 185 miles northeast of Schefferville, QC (CYKL), a member of the cabin crew had a medical problem and was not able to continue working. The crew declared a medical emergency and requested to divert to Montreal/Pierre Elliot Trudeau Intl, QC (CYUL), where the aircraft landed without any problems.

An Air Canada Boeing 787-9 (C-FKSV/ACA875) from Frankfurt, Germany (EDDF) to Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) reported having an issue with their hydraulic system on the right side. They requested emergency vehicles at CYUL airport upon arrival. Runway 24R was closed by NOTAM, therefore it was re-opened temporarily by the Aéroports de Montréal (ADM). ACA875 landed safely at 1508Z.

Update TSB #A19F0146: C-FKSV, a Boeing 787-9 aircraft operated by Air Canada, was conducting flight ACA875 from Frankfurt/Rhein-Main (EDDF), Germany to Montreal/Pierre Elliot Trudeau Intl (CYUL), QC with 10 crew members and 243 passengers on board. During cruise flight at FL380 in the vicinity of N57/W025, the aircraft experienced a lost of the right hydraulic system pressure. The flight crew initially declared a PAN PAN as they were preparing to divert to London/Heathrow (EGLL), UK. However, it was subsequently determined that the issue was not affecting the safety of the flight or the ETOPS operation, as the system pressure and quantity was operating normally with the Electric Driven Pump on. The PAN PAN was cancelled, and the flight continued to CYUL without further incident. The operators maintenance found that the Engine Driven Pump (EDP) was leaking, and proceeded to replace it.

The route of a Lufthansa Boeing 747-830 (D-ABYL/DLH440) from Frankfurt, Germany (EDDF) to Houston, TX (KIAH): SAVRY 5828N06141W SSM F/P. Route in the flight plan: SAVRY 5828N06141W VETRO SSM F/P. The deviation was detected by the ADS-C around 1430Z. The QX controller (in the SAVRY area) had cleared the aircraft for SSM, but the Canadian Automated Air Traffic System (CAATS) was never updated. After the ADS-C report, the CAATS was updated. No impact on operations. Gander is leading an investigation into this matter.

In addition, the aircraft with clearance to 7,000, descended below the listed altitude restrictions on the VITEV4 ARRIVAL and crossed GONIR at 7,200. The aircraft was then vectored to final. No other aircraft were affected.

WJA180 was cleared to 9000 feet and levelled at 9000 feet. DLH492 was cleared to 10000 feet and levelled briefly at 10400 feet before levelling at 10000 feet.

Priority handling was granted. ACA873 touched down at 1723Z and taxied to the gate without further incident (WOFI). The Toronto (YYZ) Tower and the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) manager of operations (MO) were advised. No operational impact.
