Upon inspection nothing found. An American corporately registered Boeing 767-328 (N342AX/operating as Air Canada flight ACA2420) on a flight from Honolulu, Hawaii (PHNL) to Vancouver Intl, BC (CYVR) was issued the missed approach while the runway was closed for inspection. The aircraft was vectored for a 2nd approach and landed at 0634Z. Runway 08R re-opened at 0622Z. (Duplicate AOR 260872-V1 deleted).

A Central Mountain Air Dornier 328-10 (GLR883) departed Prince George, BC (CYXS) for Fort Nelson, BC (CYYE) and reported a pressurization issue and requested clearance to return to CYXS. Clearance was given and the aircraft landed safely at 2043Z.
UPDATE from Airworthiness: A Civil Aviation Safety Inspector (CASI) looked into this occurrence. Maintenance investigation of GLR883 yielded the following results: Cabin pressure control system (CPCS) controller replaced in accordance with (IAW) DO328 aircraft maintenance manual (AMM). Operations (OPS) check done IAW DO328 AMM. Test failed, CPCS miscompare cas present Fault Isolation Manual (FIM). Checklist found 30HP module defective, unit replaced, ground run C/W IAW 21-31-01-710-801-C01.

After North Cariboo Flying Service Beech 200 (C-FZVX/NCB911) from Fort St. John, BC (CYXJ) to Prince George, BC (CYXS) started their takeoff roll they rejected takeoff due to a frozen brake at 1557Z. Air traffic control (ATC) advised (ADZ) and clearance cancelled at 1559Z. NCB911 returned to their hangar and requested another clearance at 1620Z after a run up, departed at 1637Z. No impact to operations.

Incident at FORT ST. JOHN BC (CYXJ)

Air traffic control (ATC) advised that a North Cariboo Flying Service Beech 200 (C-FZVX/NCB911) from Fort St. John, BC (CYXJ) to Prince George, BC (CYXS) was returning to the airport due to a mechanical issue at 1638Z. NCB911 landed at 1647Z. No impact to airport operations.
UPDATE from Airworthiness: A Civil Aviation Safety Inspector (CASI) looked into this occurrence. The flight crew of NCB911 experienced an unscheduled rudder boost activation after lift-off, the system was deactivated after Quick Reference Handbook (QRH) checklist actions were completed, and the aircraft returned to base. The right hand pneumatic solenoid Shut-Off Valve (SOV) was found to be intermittent and subsequently replaced.

The aircraft was informed that vehicles would be exiting Taxiway A at CSB and would advise when off. C-GMPF acknowledged and entered Taxiway A at a high rate of speed.

Vehicle (Truck82) was able to clear enough snow for WEN3298 to safely turn around. WEN3298 departed at 0445Z and JZA8211 landed at 0457Z.

At 2028Z, a Mitchinson Flying Service Limited Cessna 172S (C-FARC) from Saskatoon/Diefenbaker, SK (CYXE) to Lloydminster, AB (CYLL) called 3NM East at 3400ft, inbound for landing Runway 12. Specialist gave advisory for Runway 08 with traffic, a Border City Aviation Ltd. Cessna 172M (C-GIDW), on Runway 08 ready for circuits. Pilot of C-FARC advised they were actually to the North and were planning an overhead left downwind for 08, then corrected to just join left downwind for Runway 08. Specialist tried to get C-FARC to have visual with other Cessna 172 traffic. C-GIDW called visual with C-FARC when in mid downwind for Runway 08. C-FARC orbited to the North then followed in behind C-GIDW.

The aircraft taxied Golf but failed to make the left turn onto Foxtrot. The aircraft did stop short of Runway 29 at the Golf intersection. Ground Control was eventually able to taxi WEN3380 across Runway 29 and subsequently assigned Charlie-Uniform as the route for departure Runway 29.

A Millennium Aviation Ltd. Piper PA-28-140 (C-GXSX) from Saskatoon/John G. Diefenbaker, SK (CYXE) to Saskatoon/John G. Diefenbaker, SK (CYXE) was cleared to land on Runway 27. A privately registered Cessna 172N from Saskatoon/John G. Diefenbaker, SK (CYXE) to Humboldt, SK (CJU4) accidentally taxied across the hold line for Runway 27 on Taxiway Foxtrot. C-GXSX was immediately issued a go around. The Cessna 172N pilot confirmed they did not see, and had taxied past, the hold line. C-GSXS conducted an overshoot and no danger of collision occurred. Cessna 172N departed with no further impact to operations.

Incident at REGINA INTL SK (CYQR)

A Kreos Aviation Inc. Beech B300 (C-GADI) from Saskatoon/Diefenbaker, SK (CYXE) to Regina, SK (CYQR) was cleared for a right-hand visual approach for Runway 26 with the restriction "not below 4000 until final, and turn final outside Findley non-directional beacon (NDB). On initial contact, C-GADI acknowledged the restriction, yet turned base to a 3 mile final below 4000.

Multiple bird carcasses found requiring a sweeper for clean up.

UPDATE from Airworthiness: A Civil Aviation Safety Inspector (CASI) looked into this occurrence. Maintenance found a wire broken at pin B on C/P 3261-S10. Repaired in accordance with (IAW) aircraft maintenance manual (AMM) 20-45-09-00 and rigged per AMM 32-20-16-02. Proximity Sensing Electronics Unit (PSEU) Built-in Test Equipment (BITE) test carried out (C/O) as per AMM 32-61-50-02, no fault codes. Gear indication normal now. Gear swings C/O IAW AMM 32-30-00-02.
Update TSB Report #A19P0184: C-FCJE, a Bombardier DHC-8-102 operated by Central Mountain Air, was conducting flight GLR8016 from Prince George (CYXS), BC to Dease Lake (CYDL), BC with 3 crew members and 26 passengers on board. After departure the flight crew retracted the landing gear but noted an abnormal sound and the landing gear door remained open. The flight crew actioned the QRH for the landing gear door malfunction and proceeded to the alternate landing gear extension. The flight crew returned to CYXS and conducted an initial fly past of the tower/ARFF, followed by a second fly past for a pilot on the ground, to visually inspect the position of the landing gear. The flight crew then conducted an uneventful landing. Subsequent maintenance actions by the operator indicated a broken wire associated with the nose landing gear doors.

TSB Report #A19P0164: C-GPTL, an Aerospatiale AS 350 B-2 aircraft operated by Yellowhead Helicopters, was on a local training flight from Prince George (CYXS), BC to conduct external load (longline) Hydraulic Off emergency training, with the pilot and training pilot on board. On final for the CYXS field, the long line release button was inadvertently engaged thereby releasing the slung load. The longline and simulated load landed in a field and were retrieved by vehicle. There were no injuries or damage. The aircraft belly hook was inspected by maintenance personnel and no defects were noted.

Incident at 30NM WILLIAMS LAKE BC (CYWL)

A KF Cargo Convair 340 (KFA579) departed Kamloops, BC (CYKA) bound for Prince George, BC (CYXS). At 1825Z and 30NM North of Kelowna, BC (CYWL), the aircraft indicated an oil temperature problem and was shutting down the right engine. The aircraft requested clearance to CYLW. The aircraft indicated 5000 lbs of fuel with no hazardous cargo and 2 souls on board (SOB). Equipment at CYLW was put on standby and the aircraft landed safely at 1919Z.
UPDATE TSB #A19P0180: C-GKFF, a Convair 580 aircraft operated by Kelowna Flightcraft, was conducting flight KFA579 from Kamloops (CYKA), BC to Prince George (CYXS), BC with 2 crew on board. While in cruise flight, approximately 30 NM north of Williams Lake (CYWL), BC the crew experienced an increase in oil temperature into the caution range for the right engine (Allison 501-D13). The flight crew were unsuccessful in attempts to return it to the normal range. The crew shut down the right engine, declared an emergency, and diverted to Kelowna (CYLW), BC where the aircraft landed without further incident. Subsequent maintenance revealed fault with the engine oil cooler, which was replaced and the aircraft returned to service.
