While inbound for Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) an Openskies Airbus A330-200 (BOS7) from Paris/Orly, France (LFPO) to Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) reported flap problems and asked if it could perform a few verifications east of CYUL. After a few minutes, BOS7 declared an emergency. Coordination carried out. The aircraft landed on Runway 24L at 0133Z without incident. The National Operations Centre (NOC) and the Aviation Operations Centre (AVOPS) were notified.

VJT796 did not follow the instructions and came into conflict with EDV5520. EDV5520 thus had to continue right, taking ALPHA4 to avoid VJT796.
