Cessna 550 (C-GWFP/TOR801) from Montréal/Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau, QC (CYUL) to Rochester, NY (KROC) was till on the threshold. Clearance for takeoff could not be issued to TOR801 because a Porter Airlines de Havilland DHC-8-402 (C-GLQE/POE465) from Toronto/Billy Bishop, ON (CYTZ) to Montréal/Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau, QC (CYUL) was slow leaving the runway via Taxiway A2. TOR801 was instructed to go to the holding bay for Runway 24L because separation on final was insufficient for takeoff. TOR801 was finally able to take off at 1635Z. JZA7995 returned to land without incident at 1637Z.

Pearson, ON (CYYZ); a WestJet Encore Ltd. de Havilland DHC-8-402 (WEN3419) from Moncton/Romeo Leblanc, NB (CYQM) to Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ); a WestJet Boeing 737-700 (WJA702) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ); and an Air Transat Airbus A321-271NX (TSC481) from Lisbon, Portugal (LPPT) to Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ). The operational impact was a runway change to Runway 15, with a reduced airport arrival rate (AAR).

A Cargojet Airways Boeing 767-300 (CJT620) from Hamilton, ON (CYHM) to Moncton/Romeo LeBlanc, NB (CYQM) was backtracking for departure off of Runway 12. Maintenance (MTC) came out for inspection, found nothing. There was approximately a 5 minute delay to CJT620.

A Morningstar Air Express Inc. Boeing 757-2B7 (C-FMEQ/MAL8062) from Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ) to Moncton/Romeo Leblanc, NB (CYQM) was instructed to taxi via J to Runway 05 from the FedEx ramp. That routing can only be done by going in one direction. MAL8062 turned the wrong way and entered an area that was size-restricted to aircraft that cannot have a wingspan larger than 75. The aircraft had no other available routings and continued without incident.

Incident at LONDON FIC / FIC DE LONDON

The London Flight Information Centre (FIC) received two separate flight plans with the same operating identification for a Government of Canada, Department of National Defence Bell 412 (WOLF61) from Gagetown, NB (CYCX) to Moncton/Romeo Leblanc, NB (CYQM) and a Government of Canada, Department of National Defence Bell 412 (WOLF61) from Val-dOr, QC (CYVO) to Wawa, ON (CYXZ). This caused an error with the Flight Information Management System. London FIC verified that both aircraft wanted to use the same call sign at the same time. In order to get the two separate flight plans to work, one had to be renamed.

Incident at HAMILTON ON (CYHM) (FOD (foreign object debris))

A CargoJet Airways Boeing 767-39H (C-FDIJ/CJT621) from Moncton/Romeo Leblanc, NB (CYQM) to Hamilton, ON (CYHM) landed on Runway 30 and reported having hit a small animal, possibly a rabbit. Maintenance (MTC) conducted an inspection and retrieved the remains of a coyote pup. No operational impact.
