Incident at VICTORIA INTL BC (CYYJ)

A Pacific Coastal Airlines SF34 (operating as PCO100) while taxing missed turn onto TXWY E and infringed on the active runway. KFA275 was on approach for runway 27 with landing clearance. PCO100 vacated the runway. No impact on KFA275.

Incident at WILLIAMS LAKE BC (CYWL) (Bird strike, Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)

Westjet Boeing B737 flight WJA454, IFR Kelowna to Calgary departed Runway 16 @ 1736, Reported Hitting large flock of birds (starlings, or similar small birds) on departure midway down the runway, and indicated that the aircraft was ok. Bird information was passed to Westjet Boeing B737 flight WJA831, IFR Toronto to Kelowna on approach, and WJA831 chose to continue landing. After landing WJA831 Indicated that they had also had a bird strike. Staff collected the remains of about 20 birds from Runway16 @ TXWY B.
UPDATE from Aerodrome Safety: No further action required. The Kelowna Airport has a wildlife program in place meeting the regulatory requirement of CAR 302
