Cessna 560XLS (C-GPAW) from Montréal/Saint-Hubert, QC (CYHU) to Columbus, OH (KCMH) reported a traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS) resolution advisory (RA) due to its proximity to a Cargair Ltd. Cessna 152 (C-GZSS) from Montréal/Saint-Hubert, QC (CYHU) to Montréal/Saint-Hubert, QC (CYHU) that was departing Runway 24L. C-GPAW was notified about the aircraft and had it in sight.

An Airmedic Inc. Pilatus PC-12/47E (C-GMXD/AM267-M) on a MEDEVAC flight from Éléonore, QC (CEL8) to Rouyn-Noranda, QC (CYUY) received a traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS) alert approximately 10 NM on final for Runway 26 regarding an aircraft ahead of them, a G.D.G. Aviation Cessna A188 (C-GZNI) from Val-d’Or, QC (CYVO) to Kapuskasing, ON (CYYU); C-GMXD pulled up. The aircraft in conflict was then seen approximately 7 NM on final. Afterwards, the aircraft in conflict contacted the flight service station (FSS) on the en-route frequency. The aircraft was identified and notified about the incident.

A Panorama Fixed Wings Ltd. Pilatus PC-12/45 (PNO782) from Quebec/Jean-Lesage, QC (CYQB) to Montreal/Saint-Hubert, QC (CYHU), descending to 5,000 ft, stopped descending at 5,200 ft due to a traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS) warning. The other aircraft, a Cargair Cessna 172M (C-GGJK) on a VFR flight from Montreal/Saint-Hubert, QC (CYHU) to Montreal/Saint-Hubert, QC (CYHU) at 4,600 ft, switched direction without notice. Information on the aircraft was relayed to PNO782. Separation was maintained.

Immediately after takeoff, a Jazz de Havilland DHC-8-402 (JZA7936) from Montreal/Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau, QC (CYUL) to Quebec/Jean-Lesage, QC (CYQB) was authorized to climb to 5,000 ft because an Endeavor Air Bombardier CL-600-2B19 (EDV4932) from Detroit/Wayne County, MI (KDTW) to Montreal/Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau, QC (CYUL), was descending at 6,000 ft. The information about the aircraft was relayed, but JZA7936 nevertheless received a resolution advisory (RA) from the traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS). No loss of separation and no impact on operations.

Incident at MONTRÉAL INTL (MIRABEL) QC (CYMX)

A Federal Express Corporation Airbus A330-600F (FDX152) from Montreal/Mirabel, QC (CYMX) to Ottawa/MacDonald-Cartier, ON (CYOW) departed from Runway 24 at 1413Z with the standard instrument departure (SID). They were cleared to 5000 feet and instructed to turn to heading (HDG) 310 at 3000 feet by the terminal. A Richcopter Cessna 150M (C-FTOD) from Ottawa/Gatineau, QC (CYND) to Drummondville, QC (CSC3) was 6NM west of CYMX, at 5500 feet, VFR assigned and eastbound. At 1415Z, traffic was exchanged to FDX152. FDX152 reported the traffic in sight, and immediately after, reported a resolution advisory (RA) with a slight descent. FDX152 descended to 4800 on their RA and then, once the RA was resolved, they were climbed and cleared on course. No impact on operations.

A Provincial Airlines de Havilland DHC-8-311 (C-GVPA/PVL1901) from Wabush, NL (CYWK) to Sept-Îles, QC (CYZV) received a traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS) warning when descending to CYZV while an Air Inuit de Havilland DHC-6-300 (C-FTJJ/AIE136) from Sept-Îles, QC (CYZV) to Poste Montagnais, QC (Mile 134) (CSF3) was climbing in the opposite direction. PVL1901 deviated off course and climbed. AIE136 also had to go off-course. PVL1901 was notified about the other aircraft.

Dash 8-311, operating as flight PVL3042, was on an instrument flight rules flight from Sept-Îles, QC (CYZV) to Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau Intl, QC (CYUL). C-GRDU, a Pascan Saab 340B operating as flight PSC311, was on an instrument flight rules flight from Mont-Joli, QC (CYYY) to Sept-Îles, QC (CYZV). Approximately 40 nautical miles (NM) southwest of CYZV, separation between C-GPAR and C-GRDU was reduced to 1.5 NM horizontally and 700 ft vertically, whereas the minimum required separation is 5 NM horizontally and 1000 ft vertically.

C-FZVX followed the RA after C-GRFL reported visual. No other impact to operations.

Bombardier DHC-8-402 (C-GWJK/WEN3281) from Calgary, AB (CYYC) to Penticton, BC (CYYF) was approximately 5NM North of CYYF at 2151Z when they reported getting a resolution advisory (RA). The RA was most likely in reference to a privately registered Cessna 425 from Penticton, BC (CYYF) to Calgary/Springbank, AB (CYBW) that had departed VFR from CYYF at 2148Z, off of Runway 34. Traffic had been passed to both aircraft and updates provided to both aircraft. The Cessna 425 had just given their position as 5NM North of CYYF. No operational impact.

At 1907Z, the high level controller reported that a United States Air Force Boeing KC-135R (ARTIC42) from Eilson Air Force Base, AK (PAEI) to Madison/Dane County, WI (KMSN), en route at FL370 over Bella Bella, BC, reported 5G interference with its radio altimeter and its Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) reliability. At 1909Z, the pilot advised they were no longer operating with reduced vertical separation minimum (RVSM) due to equipment interference. The National Operations Centre (NOC) was advised and will reach out to the Aviation Operations Centre (AVOPS). No operational impact.

Cessna 172M (C-GDZQ). Traffic was passed to both aircraft.

Beech 1900D (C-FCMB/GLR734) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Kelowna, BC (CYLW) that was climbing out of 8 400 feet for 9 000 feet. No operational impact.
