A Cargair Cessna 152 (C-GDGB) from Montréal/St-Hubert, QC (CYHU) to Montréal/St-Hubert, QC (CYHU) that was departing from Runway 24L was seen turning left at 800 ft, entering into direct conflict with another aircraft at the same altitude. Departure procedure prohibits all turns under a 1,100 ft altitude. Information about the aircraft passed and the air traffic controller (ATC) gave the instruction to turn.

Pilatus PC-12/47E (C-GMXD/AM267-M) on a MEDEVAC flight from Éléonore, QC (CEL8) to Rouyn-Noranda, QC (CYUY) received a traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS) alert approximately 10 NM on final for Runway 26 regarding an aircraft ahead of them, a G.D.G. Aviation Cessna A188 (C-GZNI) from Val-d’Or, QC (CYVO) to Kapuskasing, ON (CYYU); C-GMXD pulled up. The aircraft in conflict was then seen approximately 7 NM on final. Afterwards, the aircraft in conflict contacted the flight service station (FSS) on the en-route frequency. The aircraft was identified and notified about the incident.

An Airport Authority vehicle had to drive to the aircraft to give it instructions to contact the air traffic control (ATC) unit. One aircraft had to wait five minutes before entering its hangar.

After reporting a problem with auto-pilot, a Nolinor Aviation Boeing 737-2B6C (C-GNLN/NRL955) from Val-d’Or, QC (CYVO), to Montréal/Mirabel, QC (CYMX) received and read back clearance for a visual approach for Runway 24 at CYMX. NRL955 was then seen crossing the approach path perpendicular to 4,500 ft and asked for a 270-degree left turn. The aircraft was guided to final and landed safely at 0157Z. The departure of a Morningstar Air Express Boeing 757-200 (MAL7054) on a flight from Montréal/Mirabel, QC (CYMX) was delayed by three minutes.

It joined the circuit on right downwind for Runway 27 and landed without incident. A Richcopter Inc. Cessna 150M (C-FTOD) from Ottawa/Gatineau, QC (CYND) to Ottawa/Gatineau, QC (CYND) that was on a circuit for Runway 27 was advised of the "no radio" (NORDO) aircraft and it answered that it had seen it. Incident at ROUYN-NORANDA QC (CYUY)

On final for Runway 08, the pilot of a Springer Aerospace Holdings Limited Piper PA-46-310P (C-GHWQ) from Bar River, ON (CPF2) to Rouyn-Noranda, QC (CYUY), reported a landing gear issue and requested a visual check from the flight service station (FSS). The FSS indicated that the gear was not down. After a go-around, the pilot reported that the issue was resolved and returned to land on Runway 26. The FSS reported that, from their position, three gears could be seen. The pilot stated that the gear was frozen. C-GHWQ landed at 2012Z.

A 77936 Newfoundland and Labrador Limited Robinson R44 (C-FSNZ) from Abbotsford, BC (CYXX) to Abbotsford, BC (CYXX) was seen in the infield on its side after completing an infield circuit. Two passengers exited the helicopter without assistance. The crash alarm was activated and 911 was called for minor injuries. No impact to operations.

A Carson Air Ltd. Cessna 560 Encore (C-FTJC/CRN888) from Cranbrook/Canadian Rockies, BC (CYXC) to Kelowna, BC (CYLW) was validated to depart IFR from Runway 34 while a Jazz de Havilland DHC-8-402 (C-GGDU/JZA8300) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Cranbrook/Canadian Rockies, BC (CYXC) was on an IFR approach for Runway 16. After making contact with CYXC radio, the pilot of JZA8300 recognized the issue and queried the IFR controller. JZA8300s approach was cancelled and the aircraft held until the departure could be seen on radar and identified.

At Fort Nelson, BC (CYYE), a Qwest Helicopters (2020) Ltd. Bell 206B (C-FHNT) reported doing training on Apron 2/3 and some hover work on the button of Runway 26. The aircraft was issued an advisory and was observed doing hover work on the button of Runway 26. The aircraft was seen shortly after turning final for Runway 08 and issued a final call for Runway 08 on very short final. No other call made. No other impact to operations.

A prime target that appeared on radar at 4NM southwest (SW) of Hamilton, ON (CYHM) was spotted visually and found to be a yellow aircraft on floats tracking north northwest (NNW) in the control zone (CZ). The aircraft was flying at a low level and crossed the approach paths for Runways 06 and 12. The area control centre (ACC) was advised, as the aircraft was seen tracking towards the Dundas parajump area, which was active with a jump aircraft in the air.

Incident at KITCHENER / WATERLOO ON (CYKF)

An unknown aircraft transited the Kitchener/Waterloo, ON (CYKF) zone, not talking to air traffic control (ATC) and without a transponder. A Waterloo-Wellington Flying Club Cessna 172S (C-GUBI) in the circuit had to maneuver around the unknown aircraft.
UPDATE from NAV Canada: Unknown aircraft transited the Kitchener/Waterloo, ON (CYKF) zone from southeast to west, passing approximately 1NM south of the airport at approximately 2000 feet. Runway 14 was active, with several aircraft in the circuit. A Waterloo-Wellington Flying Club Cessna 172S (C-GUBI) in the circuit had to turn an early left crosswind to avoid the aircraft. The tower made a few blind transmissions to the aircraft, which was not on the frequency. The aircraft did not have a transponder and the prime target was a very poor return and not seen until after the aircraft was seen visually out the window passing through the departure path. The aircraft appeared to be headed towards the Stratford, ON (CYSA) airport. The aircraft appeared to be a red taildragger.

At 1448Z, a Wasaya Airways Hawker Siddeley HS 748 Series 2A (C-GLTC/WSG801) from Kasabonika, ON (CYAQ) to Pickle Lake, ON (CYPL) started squawking an emergency code and it was seen on the NAV CANADA Auxiliary Radar Display System (NARDS). WSG801 declared an emergency with the flight service station (FSS), on the Pickle Lake, ON (CYPL) frequency 122.2 MHz, at around 1515Z, as they were operating on only one of two engines. The aircraft landed safely at 1540Z and needed a tow off the runway. WSG801 was off the runway at 1552Z. The landing of a Sigfusson Northern Ltd. Cessna 208B (C-GOSN) was delayed by 10 minutes. No other impact to operations.

At Sudbury, ON (CYSB), a vehicle (SANDER96) was given instructions to travel via Taxiways C and D, and to hold short of Runway 30. Five minutes later, the vehicle was seen at the maintenance garage, which means it crossed Runway 30 and accessed Taxiway A without authorization.
