On final to Kuujjuarapik, QC (CYGW), an Air Tunilik Inc. de Havilland DHC-3 (C-FSVP) notified the flight service station (FSS) that it needed to do a check. A few minutes later, the pilot indicated that there were problems with the skis, which were lowered. C-FSVP decided to divert to La Grande Rivière, QC (CYGL). It landed on Desaulniers Lake at 2136Z without incident.

PBR360 entered the Ottawa/Gatineau, QC (CYND) control zone 5NM west, then turned south over the threshold of CYND Runway 09 to join the circuit in CYRO, without contacting the air traffic services (ATS) unit. The ATS unit attempted contact on 122.3 MHz, with no response. No impact on operations.

An Air Inuit de Havilland DHC-8-314 (C-FAID/AIE880) from La Grande Rivière, QC (CYGL) to Inukjuak, QC (CYPH) departed from Runway 31 while a Keewatin Air Beech B200 (C-FSKX/KEW205) from Ottawa/Macdonald-Cartier, ON (CYOW) to La Grande Rivière, QC (CYGL) was 5 NM final for Runway 13 at 1314Z. The flight service station (FSS) stated twice that there was another aircarft on the opposite runway with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) of one hour. KEW205 aborted its approach and landed at 1316Z. AIE880 stated that it heard that the other aircraft was on final for Runway 31.
