Incident at DEER LAKE NL (CYDF)

At approximately 1422Z the FSS in Deer Lake received a telephone call from a person in Howley with a complaint about a small aircraft flying too low. The person said that the aircraft was not more than 75 feet above the ground and did not appear to be taking off or landing. The time was approximately 11:15 NDST and the aircraft was described as yellow with a red stripe. The aircraft had over flown their campground. This aircraft had departed the Upper Humber Lake at 11:05 Z and landed on the Upper Humber River at 1359 Z. Nil TSB

The Shift Manager Gander ACC received a Telephone of a low flying aircraft over residence at approximately 6:30 pm NDST. Gander Tower not aware of the activity but had up to six (6) aircraft in vicinity at time of the occurrence. Ident not Known. Nil TSB
