The NVCS at Iqaluit FSS failed completely at 2025Z. After a re-set of EPOS, NVCS became available and EPOS was changed afterward. The operation was completed at 2135Z.

Winnipeg FIC South sector console was unusable from 0005z to 1605z (16 hours) due to a failed NVCS EPOS unit. This was the fifth such failure at this unit since November 2002. In all cases the EPOS had to be replaced. The console was shut down and service provided from alternate positions. No disruptions in service to the users.
