The pilot of an Air Inuit Ltd. de Havilland DHC-8-314 (C-GIAB/AIE802) from Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) to Kuujjuarapik, QC (CYGW), level at FL250, requested a descent to 14 000 feet due to depressurization. AIE802 subsequently requested a return to CYUL. No emergency declared or impact on operations. AIE802 touched down on Runway 24L at 1445Z.
Update TSB Report #A20Q0076: C-GIAB, a De Havilland DHC-8-314 operated by Air Inuit, was performing flight AIE802 under instrument flight rules, from Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau Intl airport, QC (CYUL) to Kuujjuarapik Airport, QC (CYGW) with 3 crew members and 9 passengers on board. While cruising at flight level 250, approximately 10 nautical miles (nm) northeast of CYPP, the "Cabin Press" warning light activated. The crew noticed that the cabin altitude was above 10,000 feet and an emergency descent was initiated. An emergency was then declared and the crew performed the Emergency Checklist (QRH). After leveling off at 14,000 feet, the cabin altitude stabilized at 7,000 feet. The crew requested a return to CYUL and the emergency was canceled. The aircraft landed safely and there were no injuries.

A Jazz Bombardier CL-600-2D24 (C-FJJZ/JZA8932) from Ottawa/Macdonald-Cartier, ON (CYOW) to Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) was cleared to 8000ft and was advised to switch to the terminal frequency. These instructions were readback correctly. JZA8932 was then observed descending below 8000ft and was not in contact with the air traffic control (ATC). En route, ATC was able to contact JZA8932, and cleared JZA8932 to 6000ft and advised them to switch to the terminal frequency. JZA8932 advised ATC of their loss of navigational instruments, and requested a visual approach. JZA9832 landed safely at 1940Z. Impact: an Air Canada Boeing 787-8 (C-GHPX/ACA835) from Geneva, Switzerland (LSGG) to Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) was pulled out of its approach to maintain spacing.

At Kuujjuaq, QC (CYVP), an Integrated Information Display System (IDDS) satellite link failure occurred due to poor weather in Montreal. Failure of the NAV CANADA Auxiliary Radar Display System (NARDS), the Extended Computer Display System (EXCDS), and Nuvilik frequency 135.1 from 1825Z to 1900Z. Impact on operations: an Air Inuit Ltd. Boeing 737-300 (AIE782) from Montreal/Trudeau, QC (CYUL) to Kuujjuaq, QC (CYVP) had to wait 5 minutes to compensate at FL350 before receiving the air traffic control (ATC) authorization (transmitted by the flight service station (FSS)) for descent. No other impact.

During its repositioning towards the main apron, the pilot of a Provincial Airlines de Havilland DHC-8-102 (C-FDND/PVL1902) from Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau, QC (CYUL) to Quebec/Jean Lesage, QC (CYQB) made a left turn onto Runway 24L when they had been authorized to cross Runway 24L from Taxiway L to Taxiway A3.
