After returning to the ramp for an aircraft (A/C) inspection, C-GYGH proceeded onto Taxiway Alpha without contacting the FSS at 1932Z. No impact.

An Air Creebec de Havilland DHC-8-314 (CRQ5641) from Val-dOr, QC (CYVO) to Chibougamau/Chapais, QC (CYMT) received a departure clearance for Runway 36. Both were IFR. The Flight Service Station (FSS) advised CRQ5641 to hold and requested clarification from the Air Traffic Controller (ATC). The clearance for CRQ5641 was subsequently cancelled.

Aviation Incident Report #17559: A Cargair Cessna 152 (C-GYWA) was conducting touch-and-gos on Runway 23. At that time, a Chrono Aviation Pilatus PC-12/45 (C-GICR/NDL876) was performing an area navigation (RNAV) approach for Runway 23. There was no contact between the pilots until C-GYWA made a turn on final, passing in front of NDL876, which caused a loss of safe separation between the aircraft. The pilots of the two aircraft conducted a go-around.

Incident at GASPÉ / MICHEL-POULIOT QC (CYGP)

A Pascan British Aerospace Jetstream 3212 (C-FPSC/PSC309) from Québec/Jean-Lesage, QC (CYQB) to Gaspé/Michel-Pouliot, QC (CYGP) failed to call once off the runway after landing. No response from the weather office or garage. The area control centre (ACC) asked if they had landed. The airport manager (APM) contacted staff outside the airport and was able to communicate with a vehicle (ST24) at the airport. The vehicle confirmed that the aircraft was off the runway. The ACC was notified that the aircraft was indeed on the ground. No other impact on operations.
