A privately registered Cessna 182P from Fredericton, NB (CYFC) to Fredericton, NB (CYFC) was cleared, and read back, to join the right downwind for Runway 09. The aircraft joined the left downwind for Runway 09. No impact to operations.

Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT) (Dangerous goods/hazardous materials)

At St. Johns, NL (CYYT), a de Havilland DHC-8-400 aircraft parked at Gate 2 on the terminal ramp reported a small hydraulic leak. The Firehall was advised and responded.

Incident at SAINT JOHN NB (CYSJ)

A Fundy Cessna 150 Flying Club Ltd. Cessna 150K (C-FBJS) from Saint John, NB (CYSJ) to Saint John, NB (CYSJ) lost its radio capacity. The pilot was able to communicate as "receiver only" (RONLY) with clicks. The aircraft returned to base (RTB) and landed safely at 1303Z. No operational impact.

A Capital City Skydiving Inc. Cessna 182 (C-FQVL) from Campbell River, BC (CYBL) to Campbell River, BC (CYBL) reported a flat tire upon landing at 2225Z. The runway was closed. The aircraft was removed and the runway re-opened at 2237Z.

Incident at WABUSH NL (CYWK) (Aerodrome - operations)

A building evacuation occurred at Wabush, NL (CYWK) due to a fire alarm. The "all clear" was given to staff to return to the airport. Staff returned to the airport and began normal operations. No impact to operations.

Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ATM - inaccurate aeronautical information)

At Fredericton, NB (CYFC), the multilateration (MLAT) system was dropping surveillance targets within approximately one mile of Runway 09 (arrivals and departures).

Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The controller cleared a Moncton Flight College Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-FJXD) from Fredericton, NB (CYFC) to Fredericton, NB (CYFC) to land, but no response was received from the pilot. The controller attempted several times to re-establish communications and also used light gun signals to clear the aircraft to land. The aircraft intentionally pulled up and went around. The pilot was able to establish communications again while conducting the overshoot and stated it was an issue with their radios volume.

Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH)

While inbound, a Perimeter Aviation Fairchild SA227-AC (C-FJLO/PAG1710) from Winnipeg/James Armstrong Richardson, MB (CYWG) to Thompson, MB (CYTH) advised it was unable to de-activate its emergency locator transmitter (ELT) and that there was no emergency or issues. The ELT signal remained strong and clear on 121.5 MHz until the aircraft shut down at 2152Z. The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) Trenton was notified.
