At 0209Z, at the Whitehorse/Eric Nielsen, YT (CYXY) aerodrome, an Air North Vehicle proceeded on Runway 01/19 after being instructed to hold short of that runway. The operator had read back the instruction around 0208Z.

An Air Canada Airbus A321-211 (C-FJNX/ACA439) from Ottawa/Macdonald-Cartier, ON (CYOW) to Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ) was instructed to initiate a missed approach to Runway 33L due to the previous lander being slow to exit. ACA439 landed on Runway 33L at 0609Z without incident. Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

At Fredericton, NB (CYFC), the pilot of a Moncton Flight College Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-FDYW) was instructed and read back on their take-off clearance to follow the Moncton Flight College Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-GMFI) that was airborne ahead of them in the left circuit. C-FDYW was observed turning crosswind at 500ft and cutting off C-GMFI. C-GMFI was issued a right 360 for spacing and followed C-FDYW in the downwind. No impact on operations.

Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

A Moncton Flight College Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-FNDC) from Greater Moncton/Romeo LeBlanc, NB (CYQM) to Greater Moncton/Romeo LeBlanc, NB (CYQM) failed to hold short of Runway 06 despite an accurate readback of the restriction.

At Regina, SK (CYQR), 10 rabbits were observed on Taxiway A heading towards the runway. A vehicle (RED3) was called to inspect the runway. A WestJet Encore Ltd. de Havilland DHC-8-402 (WEN3272) from Regina, SK (CYQR) to Calgary, AB (CYYC) was delayed by 5 minutes.

Pearson, ON (CYYZ) due to previous arrival, a Chartright Air Cessna 560 Citation Ultra (C-GJET/HRT445) from Greater Moncton/Romeo LeBlanc, NB (CYQM) to Toronto/Lester B. Tower controller lined up a Morningstar Air Express Inc. Cessna 208B (MAL8074) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Victoria, BC (CYYJ) for Runway 08R but an Air Canada Airbus A319 (ACA574) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to San Francisco, CA (KSFO) took the clearance and lined up, then MAL8074 also replied and lined up. Tower noticed that both aircraft were lined up and departed them in the correct order.

Incident at CASTLEGAR / WEST KOOTENAY REGIONAL BC (CYCG)

At 1907Z, the flight service station (FSS) saw a Government Of Canada, Department Of National Defence Bell 412 (CFC0705) from Kelowna (Alpine), BC (Heli) (CAB7) to Cranbrook/Canadian Rockies, BC (CYXC) abeam the threshold of Runway 15 at West Kootenay, BC (CYCG), heading Northeast. The helicopter had not been in contact with the FSS. At the same time, a Kootenay Lake Aviation Inc. Cessna 172K (C-GFRK) from Nelson, BC (CZNL) to Castlegar/West Kootenay, BC (CYCG) was in contact with the FSS, inbound from the Northeast (NE), 2 miles back. C-GFRK was immediately advised of the traffic. C-GFRK reported the helicopter in sight. At 1909Z, the helicopter identified itself to the FSS as CFC0705, saying they were having radio problems. No additional impact on operations.

A WestJet Boeing 737-8CT (C-FWJS/WJA1882) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Kona, HI (PHKO) reported a wake turbulence encounter following 4.6NM in trail of a WestJet Boeing 737-8CT (C-GWUX/WJA185H) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Kahului, HI (PHOG). The aircraft was vectored off the same track to minimize any further turbulence. No other aircraft were affected.

At Timmins, ON (CYTS), a vehicle (ST24) went on Runway 10/28 at 1537Z, turned toward the very high frequency omnidirectional range (VOR), then reported that they were stuck in the snowbank and would need to be pulled out. Runway 10/28 was closed via a 59 minute voice NOTAM. At approximately 1549Z, ST24 reported that they were no longer stuck in the snowbank, and another vehicle (ST27) re-opened the runway.
